Tecnoidea Impianti was founded in Villasanta in 1981, based on the vision of Francesco Parolini, who had already recognised the importance of water recovery and process sludge treatment at a time when environmental sustainability was not yet a widespread concern.
Over more than four decades of research, international expansion and increasing process specialisation, we have built our expertise around a single principle: separate water from washing waste, recover it and return it clean to the process.
Today, Tecnoidea Impianti is an established organisation with more than 50 employees and a leading-edge engineering and R&D division, working in 58 countries worldwide without ever having faced a single legal dispute.

We manage our processes in-house, from the first physicochemical analysis to long-term maintenance. Laboratory testing, engineering and after-sales support are the foundations of the Tecnoidea approach: together, they ensure that plants are sized on solid data and remain efficient throughout their operating life.
Every project starts with laboratory testing of the customer’s actual material: washing, flocculation, physicochemical treatment, filtration and dewatering trials, to size machines and plants on real data, not estimates.

The engineering team turns the laboratory data into a detailed design: 2D and 3D drawings, feasibility studies, plant layout, structural calculations and material selection. Every plant is tailored to the specific needs of the site, and where required we can also support the customer through the permitting phase.
We tailor the scope of supply to each customer: we can provide the process machines alone, or broader engineering support. In that case we also design and supply the plant rooms, containers, stairs and walkways — custom-built in our own fabrication shop, either fixed or in a modular, transportable version for sites that need to relocate. It is a choice the customer makes together with us, based on the customer’s in-house engineering capabilities and the specific site conditions.

We manufacture and assemble our machines in-house — including the largest units requiring special transport — in our own fabrication and machine shops. Our specialised staff also program the PLCs and carry out internal testing before shipment. Manufacturing and assembling our machines in-house allows us to control quality at every stage, from steel fabrication to advanced automation systems.
For turnkey plants, our engineers oversee on-site commissioning, providing hands-on support and coordinating local teams through final testing and operator training.
Our Support team looks after the plant throughout its entire life cycle, with remote assistance and on-site interventions.
