Monolithic
solution
The monolithic milk-of-lime plant is a chemical conditioning unit designed for a minimal footprint. It plays a key role in environmental applications and in the treatment of excavated soil, where incoming materials are heterogeneous. This pre-assembled solution does so by positioning the dissolver directly beneath the storage silo.
Chemical sludge conditioning integrated into a compact structure.
Sludges with a high clay content have a mineral structure that tends to retain water. If this material is sent to the filter press untreated, filtration is ineffective, resulting in poorly formed, low-quality cakes instead of properly dewatered ones.

The plant injects the prepared milk of lime, which acts as a filtration aid. The lime chemically destabilises the clay structure, allowing the trapped water to be released and assisting dewatering.

Dosing and continuous recirculation of the milk of lime are handled by a dedicated rubber-lined abrasion-resistant centrifugal pump.

To allow the lime to act properly, the plant works together with a sludge tank sized to provide the required reaction time. The tank is fitted with a double-paddle agitator, with offset blades at two different heights, to promote thorough mixing of the lime into the sludge.

Pre-assembled monolithic and skid-mounted structures for quick installation and reduced on-site assembly.

Unlike standard plants with the dissolver alongside, the monolithic variant is a pre-assembled structure in which the dissolver sits directly beneath the silo. This architecture provides a compact footprint and requires only positioning on site. It allows powdered lime storage of up to 65 m³.
Designed for low-throughput applications or very confined spaces, this variant has a compact 1 m³ storage silo and an adjacent dissolver of the same capacity.
To keep the powder flowing freely and prevent blockages, the silo is fitted with an automatic shaking system that uses dried compressed air and fluidising nozzles.
