Concrete-mixer-truck washes per day
Vigier Beton, part of the Vigier group and of the international group Vicat, is one of Switzerland’s leading players in construction materials. With a widespread local presence, the company runs a network of concrete batching plants and quarries supplying infrastructure and civil-building projects across Switzerland. Beyond supplying concrete and virgin aggregates, Vigier Beton stands out for a strong commitment to the circular economy: it integrates treatment plants to recover rubble and excavation soils, turning them into high-quality recycled aggregates. Its operations are driven by a constant pursuit of energy efficiency, the reduction of CO₂ emissions and the protection of water resources, positioning it as a reliable, innovative partner in full compliance with Swiss environmental regulations.

The company needed a fast-delivery turnkey solution taking up as little space as possible on site.

As it treats concrete wastewater, the company needed a mechanically simple but robust plant able to avoid dangerous blockages.

Fully automatic operation was required, to minimise operator intervention in the plant's day-to-day management.

The entire system was pre-assembled and tested at the works and housed inside a single 20-foot container box, making it very easy to position on site.

A compact filter press (model 800B) was installed, specifically suited to treating concrete wastewater and engineered with greatly simplified mechanics to reduce energy consumption.

The plant was equipped with an advanced system with a PLC integrated into the container, set up for remote control and management.
The plant achieves the environmental goal, allowing full recovery of the filtered water, which is then reused directly for washing the concrete mixer trucks or in the concrete batching plant.
Thanks to automatic operation and the anti-clogging design, operator intervention has been reduced to a maximum of just 2 hours a week, limited to cleaning and routine maintenance.
Housed within a single 20-foot container, the unit is easy to relocate where needed; in addition, remote 4.0 management enables prompt diagnostics and support without the need for technicians on site.
