Cross-disciplinary expertise, from commissioning to day-to-day plant operation

At Tecnoidea, after-sales is handled entirely by our Support team — the same people who carry out in-house testing and on-site commissioning.

Our engineers combine cross-disciplinary expertise in electrical systems, process engineering, PLC programming and physicochemical treatment. A plant problem can stem from a mechanical component, a software setting or a change in the material being treated, and diagnosing it requires an understanding of how all these factors interact.

Our team supports the plant throughout its entire life cycle.

From production testing to on-site commissioning, through to ongoing support and, if needed, decommissioning.

From commissioning to training

Plant commissioning is a critical phase. We support you step by step, from testing through to independent plant operation.

Pre-commissioning and testing

Our engineers carry out pre-commissioning and in-house testing at our production facilities, verifying functionality before the plant leaves the factory.

On-site commissioning

Commissioning at the customer's site is handled directly by our Support team, bringing with them the detailed knowledge of the plant gained during design and assembly.

On-site operational support

Our engineers provide on-site support during production, transferring know-how to help operators run the plant safely and efficiently.

Training to full autonomy

We provide structured, ongoing training programmes until plant operators can work independently.

Remote monitoring

Not just remote monitoring, but continuous support that reduces downtime.

For our customers, remote assistance is a channel of continuous support. From commissioning onwards, our engineers connect remotely to check that the plant is operating correctly. When they identify an issue, they usually don’t act on the machine directly: they contact the customer and guide them through the corrective action, turning every intervention into a training opportunity.

The remote connection also lets us update plant software. As a deliberate safety choice, we only make limited, low-risk changes remotely: when a change affects the software at a deeper level, an engineer always visits the site in person to verify that the operation succeeded. This continuous oversight helps reduce plant downtime, because many issues are caught and resolved before they turn into faults that could stop the plant.

Over €3 million in spare parts in stock, helping minimise downtime when every hour counts.

A strategic investment: when a plant stops, every hour counts.

When a plant stops, the real cost is not the spare part — it is the production downtime that cascades across the entire operation. That is why we keep over €3 million in spare parts in stock. It is a major investment, but it is what allows us to respond to emergencies quickly.

Same-day resolution

of many service issues

thanks to the starter packs (essential spare parts) sold together with the plant and the emergency spare-parts kits carried in our engineers' equipped vans.

Spare parts inventory

continuously monitored

and managed through automated vertical carousel storage systems, allowing us to respond quickly to spare-parts requests.

Third-party components

Our coverage also extends to third-party components integrated into the plant. We source them quickly, including for our customers abroad.

Full traceability, by serial number

Every plant is identified by a serial number and comes with a “commissioning checklist” that records every modification and component change made over the years. This gives us an exact picture of your plant's status at any time, so we can always supply the correct spare part.

When the problem isn't the machine, but the material

Our technical support works together with our laboratory to recalibrate the physicochemical process.

Not every plant problem is mechanical or electrical. Sometimes the machine works perfectly, but the cause lies in the process — often because the incoming material has changed over time. This is where physicochemical process consulting becomes part of our technical support.

Our engineers visit the plant with instruments and probes to carry out on-site assessments, working closely with our in-house analysis laboratory. If needed, we take samples and the laboratory runs targeted tests to identify the source of the problem and recalibrate the process. This support can continue years after installation, adapting to changes in both plant operation and the material being treated.

This process expertise is not limited to Tecnoidea-branded plants: we also support plants equipped with machinery from other manufacturers, including revamping projects.
